Questions about Storage and Transportation

Correct storage conditions depend on the exact food product, packaging and manufacturer instructions. A single universal temperature or shelf-life number would be misleading across different oils and packaging types.

Ask five questions

Does the proposed product have official storage instructions? How should its package be protected during transport? How are batches and dates identified? What conditions must the storage location meet? What documents and inspection points are relevant when accepting delivery?

At receipt, compare the product identity, units and packaging condition with the accepted offer and any applicable documents. If something differs, request a recorded clarification. Promotional website copy cannot resolve a discrepancy in a real delivery.

Quality discussions deserve evidence, not slogans.

A procurement decision should rely on the actual product and applicable documents. Where relevant, buyers may need the specification, label, product identity, batch information, packaging description, and contractually required test results or declarations. None should be invented or generalized from one product to another.
